The Evolution and Expansion of COVID Testing at USA Health
The USA Medical Alumni Association is proud to host Drs. Natalie Fox; Michael Chang; Benjamin Estrada, and Mike Zang as they give participants a look at the evolution and expansion of COVID testing at USA Health. On March 13th, 2020 Alabama announced the state’s first confirmed case of COVID-19. Just one day prior, USA Health conducted it’s first “drive-thru” COVID-19 test in the back parking lot of one of it’s primary care practices. USA Health is now operating one of the largest Drive-Thru COVID-19 testing sites in the area serving over 200 patient each day at the Civic Center dome in downtown Mobile. This presentation will explore the evolution and expansion of USA Health’s response to COVID-19 through community partnerships, innovative testing strategies and academic-driven clinical expertise.
